Replacement Filters for XJ-3000 Series
This replacement HEPA filter is designed to fit the entire XJ-3000 air purifier series, including the XJ-3000C, XJ-3000D and XJ-3000E. On average, this filter will last approximately 12 months, and traps 99.7% of dust, mold spores and allergens that pass through it.

How The HEPA Replacement Filter Works
True HEPA filters are made from tiny glass fibers, and they are more effective than any other type of air filter at capturing dust, pollen, ragweed, dust mites, mold spores and other allergens. In fact, HEPA filters are so effective, they are recommended by the Dept. of Homeland Security. Furthermore, in a Journal of Hygiene study, negative ions were found to improve efficiency of filter units. Another study conducted by the Air & Waste Management Association discovered that the combination of a germicidal UV lamp and HEPA air filter helped reduce the overall amount of bacteria by 80% in a 3072 cubic foot chamber.
