Organic Volcanic Zeolites

Volcanic Zeolites

Zeolites have been used for industrial reasons for decades, but only recently have their many other benefits come to the surface. To date, there have been over forty types of zeolites reported by research groups, each possessing various properties.

The volcanic zeolites role as a filter is especially important in clearing the bloodstream and body systems of unneeded toxins. By understanding the many benefits of volcanic zeolites, it becomes clear how beneficial they are in our detox product, Zeotrex™.

What Are Organic Volcanic Zeolites?

In order to appreciate the rising interest in volcanic zeolites, one needs to learn about sub-sea floor hydrothermal environments. Those are the ecosystems inhabited by the fauna and flora that live on the oceanic crust. Their presence in those ecological niches has led to the formation of a special mineral. Scientists refer to that mineral as volcanic zeolites.

Also known as Clinoptilolite, organic volcanic zeolites are a natural element that is made of tiny crystalline tetrahedral chambers, which have the ability to hold substances within them such as heavy metals, chemicals and other free radicals. In general terms, zeolites have a number of common agricultural and industrial uses such as preserving food, removing odor and absorbing chemicals. While most types of zeolites are commonly used in these areas, they are steadily rising in popularity for their use in cleansing and detoxifying the body of toxins.

Natural zeolites are made up of crystalline hydrated aluminosilicate of alkaline substances found in the earth, which covers the places where volcanic sediments have been deposited. Synthetic zeolites are a man-made reproduction of the natural zeolites.

Scientists believe that natural zeolites played an important role in the evolution of life on earth. It served as a surface to which bimolecular substances could adhere. While they remained stuck to that surface, they could then interact with other bimolecular substances, substances floating in that aqueous environment.

Today, scientists are learning that zeolites attract and adhere to positively charged toxic molecules. Zeolites provide a surface in which catalytic reactions can take place. Zeolites have another important property. Zeolites contain inter-connected cavities. Those cavities can attract and become filled with positively charged molecules of chemicals, heavy metals and other toxins.

The Health Benefits of Zeolites

Zeolites have a recognized absorption capacity. Zeolites have been used as a tool for water purification. When water passes over zeolites surface, the absorptive properties in the zeolites allow it to remove inorganic contaminants, pathogenic bacteria and soluble organic matter from the water.

Zeolites can also absorb heavy metals. That is why zeolites seem to show potential for use as landfill mineral basal sealing. The hope is that such a sealing would keep metals from discarded items within a given area. Then those metals would not be able to get into the water; water that would drain onto the land, rivers or lakes.

Did You Know?
Did You Know?
  • Zeolites can absorb gases as well as metals. Zeolites are being used to absorb ammonia from municipal, industrial and agricultural waste. Zeolites have also been used in dialysis equipment.
  • Zeolites have been used as an energy exchanger in a solar-powered refrigerator.
  • Zeolites have been used to carry out hydroponics projects. Zeolites could make up part of the substrate in a hydroponics lab on a future space station.
  • Zeolites have been used as a supplement in animal diets. Zeolites have also been used in pet litters.
  • Zeolites powder has been used in deodorants, in anti-mycotic agents and in wound dressings.
  • Zeolites have been used as a contrast material in machines that do NMR imaging. That would include any equipment used to do an MRI.
  • A type of zeolites fiber has been found in the volcanic turf that covers the Anatolian plateau. That plateau, one located in Turkey, was once home to an ancient city, a city that had citizens who mined and worked with gold.

Properties of Volcanic Zeolites

The negative ion charge of the zeolites aids in attracting and binding with toxic chemicals and heavy metals. This also means that zeolites can attach to these free radicals and release them from the body. This is a great benefit because free radicals are over-produced as a result of many of the toxins that enter our bodies. Zeolites are highly resistant to extreme heat, cold and volatile chemicals. This means that zeolites can hold up in the most extreme toxic conditions that may be present in a toxic body.

Science has studied the positive benefits of zeolites in the removal of heavy metals and other toxins, which are filtered from various systems of the body. These toxic substances can be found in the systems of many people without their ever knowing it, until it begins to damage their health.

It's also important to be aware of the detoxification tools like Zeotrex™, which makes optimal use of organic volcanic zeolites and toxin absorbing herbs in its formula.

Zeolites are a key component of Zeotrex™, a powerful blend formulated to help remove chemical and heavy metal toxins from your body, including those toxins present in many medications.
