Potassium is an essential mineral for our bodies that helps regulate the amount of water and electrolytes in our cells. Potassium orotate is a mineral salt that can help make DNA & RNA.
Dr. Hans Nieper believed that since orotate salts were neutrally charged, they were able to pass through the membranes of cells easily. Therefore, carrying across the accompanying mineral atoms into the cells, thus cultivating higher tissue concentrations. Dr. Nieper used potassium orotates for a variety of health conditions, including symptoms of magnesium deficieny, high blood pressure, rheumatoid arthritis, heart disease, anxiety and depression.
