I used this for six months then had my levels checked, I was at 36 which is WNL, however, would have preferred to be in the upper 40's low 50's. Plus there was also concern about the four or five vitamins/minerals that work synergistically with D3.
I now am taking independently D3-5000 IU's, Zinc Orotate, Vitamin C, Vitamin K2 and Magesium all together about 5-6 times per week. I live in Florida, however, since we get chemtrails 24 hours a day, I do not go outside, a complete chemtrail phobic. My need is probably greater than those that go outside for even 20' a day.
Me and my husband haven't actually felt a great difference in our health using it, but I suppose that's because we changed a lot of items and we are felling a great change with the whole process. We couldn't be specific about it. We always take it when we don't get exposed to sunlight, and we feel happy with this care we are taking!
I chose this product because I wanted a vegan D3 supplement. I found that this is almost vegan, since it was made from bacteria and sheep wool extract (lanolin), at least it does not require the killing of the animal. It seems to be the closest to vegan of any D3 source. The effect is subtle for me. I seem to feel it working, but it is not as obvious as other supplements. My one reservation is the bottle. The thick serum does not pour well out of it. I ended up taking the dropper top off and pouring it directly. I have since found another near vegan D3 from another company that dilutes the formula so that it can be administered from a regular dropper bottle. This seems more practical for daily supplementation. It seems that we do need D3 and it may qualify as a mild global deficiency, perhaps due our species spending less time outdoors in a direct sunlight.
Tip for Dropper
My husband actually discovered a way to get the drops to fall quicker. Hold the bottle upside down vertically in a straight line. Wait a few seconds, then put over your mouth and shift the bottle to a 45 degree angle. The drops will come very quickly so be ready!
I'm really happy with it and it tastes just like olive oil and nothing else, which is great. However, one thing maybe to improve is the dropper. It's really slow and by the time the one drop finally emerges I have a cramp in my neck :)
