    I am working with a 19 year-old , quadriplegic following a car accident a year and a half ago. We seem to have gotten the consistency of her stool much better, ( with Kefir, fermented juices like Biotta, more probiotics, salba, etc) but the dangerously severe constipation she has struggled with for all that time is also a result of poor intestinal motility. I would like to understand the mechanism of Oxy-Power more before I recommend it for her family. She is beginning to show movements in all her limbs and some beginning trunk strength, all of which { makes us party! } and will help with her gut. Magnesium did little for her in the past, so I’d like to know:
    The mechanism by which this works;
    How it is different from other magnesium;
    Does the hyper oxygenation interfere with existing gut flora and fauna;
    Since it is imperative that we not add to the trauma in her brain , and many sources of citric acid contain or result in the formation of free glutamic acid (aspartame or similar excitotoxins) can you assure me that this is not the case with the citric acid you use? and if so how?
    The safety of longer term use, and recommended schedule if needed periodically.
    Thank you very much,
    Reeve Curry, 603-569-2078
