Organic wood vinegar is an essential ingredient in my detox foot pads and works synergistically with the other ingredients — amethyst gemstone, organic loquat leaf, and organic bamboo vinegar. Wood vinegar is been evaluated through and through so to understand its detoxifying power let’s quickly brush up on the history and basic facts about organic wood vinegar, how it’s produced, and the benefits it offers.
How is Organic Wood Vinegar Made?
Wood vinegar, as its name implies, is derived from tree wood. Ubame oak trees are heated to 250 degrees Celsius and the smoke from the heat is collected, condensed, and distilled into wood vinegar. It’s filtered multiple times to achieve maximum purity and aged for at least six months.
The wood vinegar that’s used in our Detox Foot Pads™ is in a powdered form. It’s made in a similar way, except that it’s also dried using a specialized machine that converts it to a powder. The powdered form retains the same beneficial qualities and is extremely high in purity and efficacy.
