The oxygen in MMS is bonded to chlorine atoms. When these bonds are broken, the oxygen atoms are released with the correct electron charge needed for them to react with and destroy harmful substances in the body.
Oxygen is a highly reactive element, and will do its best to chemically bond with other molecules whenever possible. When the chlorine dioxide in MMS encounters toxins or other harmful particles, the attached oxygen atoms pull electrons away from the unwanted compounds.

Directions For General Wellness and Purification:
MMS is very powerful and may make some users feel nauseous or experience stomach cramping. This is simply your body's normal reaction to the detoxification process. However, because MMS works much more quickly than other detox agents, your body's initial response to it may be more intense. Don't worry -- the effect is temporary and will pass once the toxins have been flushed from your body.
We strongly recommend that you start with 1 to 2 drops of MMS and a small teaspoon of powdered citric acid or ¼ of a fresh organic Lemon to avoid strong side-effects.
Instructions:
Citric Acid Solution:
Option 1: Mix 2 level teaspoons in 3 fluid ounces of distilled water (or any other 1 to 9 ratio by volume)
Option 2: 1/4 of a fresh lemon
Activation Solution:
Combine MMS and pre-mixed citric acid solution or lemon juice in a clean, dry glass, adding 5 drops of citric acid solution for each drop of MMS (1 to 5 ratio). You may slowly increase your intake of activation solution as desired.
Usage:
Wait 3 minutes (solution will turn light yellow), then add the activated solution to the water or juice to be purified. Drink the now-purified water or juice. If nausea should occur use fewer drops of MMS and activator before adding to the water or juice.
For Children: start with 1 drop and increase daily up to 3 drops maximum for each 25 lbs (11.4 KG) of body weight. Be sure to add the citric acid solution and wait as explained above.
Use pineapple, grape, apple, or cranberry juice without vit C. Do not use orange juice.
Contents: Distilled Water and 28% sodium chlorite crystals; net 22.4% sodium chlorite
Warnings: Very toxic if used full strength. In case of accidental ingestion, drink lots of water. Keep out of the reach of children. Keep out of direct sunlight.
Directions for MMS Maintenance:
Once your body has grown accustomed to the purification process, and has been purged of its accumulated toxic stockpile, you can reduce your regimen to 6 drops of MMS daily. This will help prevent future toxin build-up and ensure that your body continues to feel clean and healthy.
Remember: If at any point you feel ill, you can always reduce your serving size by one or two drops and then work your way back up when you're ready.
