Himalayan Crystal Salt™ is the purest form of salt crystals in the world. We know this because Himalayan salt has been in the earth for over 250 million years. It's truly toxin free. What that means is that it's safe and more beneficial than any other salt on the market. To preserve this purity, the salt is hand-collected from the mountains, broken down into granules by hand with the use of stones, and packaged in cotton bags.
Course granulated Himalayan Crystal Salt™ is an excellent size for preparing large amounts of water, such as adding to baths or for preparing sole. It works well when used in solutions which don't require exact measurements. However, if you desire, you can grind it down to suit your purposes.
Benefits of Himalayan Crystal Salt
Himalayan crystal salt is beneficial because it contains 84 minerals along with trace elements that come alive when dissolved in water³. This salt can actually help your body return to its optimal pH balance. The beneficial living nutrients in Himalayan Crystal Salt™ can be easily processed by your body. And, since it's not pulling excessive amounts of water from your cells, it doesn't dehydrate your body the way that common table salt can. This balancing ability was recorded in a double-blind4 study that was conducted by the Inter-University of Graz, Austria.
Research showed that consuming Himalayan crystal salt can provide:
- Help for regulating heartbeat
- Prevention of muscle cramps
- Help to maintain firmness in bones
- Balancing blood sugar and pH acid levels
- Help regulating the electrolyte balance of cells which aids in conducting electricity
- Healthy patterns in intimacy and sleep
In the Wieliczka, Poland royal salt mine, there is a hospital that was carved inside a salt mountain and patients are treated by spending time in these chambers. The health benefit and reactions by lung disease patients, asthmatics and allergy sufferers is astonishing to say the least. The hospital boasts a 90%+ healing success rate at this facility. The air is very pure. After all, it's in a place that was formulated millions of years ago when the earth really was pristine5.
Sodium Chloride (Table Salt) vs. Organic Himalayan Crystal Salt
All living animals need salt. And, for our best health, we need unrefined salt. One benefit of unrefined crystal salt is that it replenishes electrolytes. The importance of electrolytes cannot be overstated. Electrolytes are electrically charged and are a major factor in powering up our bodies. You see, water alone is not the conductor of electrical currents; we require electrolytes in proper balance to coordinate the electrical currents required for many body functions.

Did You Know? |
- The human body is mostly made up of water which very closely resembles sea salt. 4
|
Electrolytes are not the only useful substances that we get from natural salt. Healthful benefits come from natural unprocessed sources such as, vibrant, Himalayan Crystal Salt™. There is no salt processed anywhere that is better for your body than this crystal salt. Even sea salt is partially refined and so loses some of its natural integrity during the process.
Himalayan Crystal Salt™ is an all natural salt that has all of its 84 ionic minerals in tact. There is no mistaking the benefits of having 84 minerals in the salt you consume, or soak in or clean wounds with — the same 84 minerals that naturally occur in your body. And, to make it even better, the nutrients in Himalayan Crystal Salt™ are very easily absorbed by the body.
Ordinary table salt presents an enormous burden to your body. It's been bleached and chemically stripped of anything that might be beneficial. Mostly it introduces into your body additional toxins that can't be expelled completely or easily.
Himalayan Crystal Salt in its natural state is nutrient rich with all the beneficial trace elements and minerals exactly like what is present in sea water. It doesn't burden our bodies but instead releases in us 84 trace elements and nutrients that our bodies can easily absorb and make use of.

Shocking Fact |
An elderly woman had two near fatal experiences, due to a low sodium salt substitute that didn't have even one third sodium chloride in its formula. It did have in it, about two thirds potassium chloride which was raising her serum potassium to life-threatening levels.²
|
Ordinary table salt (Sodium Chloride) causes dehydration. When your body is working to expel this excess toxic salt, it forms uric acid. Your body pulls the water from your cells in an effort to neutralize the damage by ionizing the substance into chloride and sodium. Pulling water from your cells in this manner can cause dehydration. The reason is because there's nothing in table salt that can inhibit the excessive transfer of water out of cells.
Himalayan Crystal Salt does not present this problem. Powerful information transfers regulate the amount of water that's allowed to pass through cell walls, and preserve the optimal balance.³
- Producers are offering low sodium products. As with anything, though, you have to study the products to learn what they are really offering you.
- People are turning to salt substitutes that are low in sodium. But these are not safe either.
- The dangers of eating table salt are not worth the risk. In fact, many people are so concerned about common table/cooking salt that they want it to be regulated by the government.
- Another reaction to the dangers of common salt is the gaining popularity of natural salt, like sea salt. However, sea salt is a partially refined product which means that some of its benefits are depleted as well.
- Today, the best salt product that you can use is one that's been around for centuries. It's Himalayan Crystal Salt. It's a marvelous substance that is filled with beneficial minerals that come to life in water.
Common Table Salt is Not the Answer
Believe me when I tell you that common table salt is not the substance that you want to use or consume. Table salt has no health benefit and can damage your health with the toxins it introduces. Common table salt is bleached, chemically treated and heat dried at more than 1000°. It is this process that makes common table salt 99% sodium chloride. Other substances added to table salt include corn sugar and/or aluminum-silicate. They're added even though they’re toxic to the body, just so that the granules don't clump together.
It needs to be stated that commercial salt is mainly produced as an industrial substance. According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), only 3% of the salt produced is for human consumption. Now, read on, and then decide which salt is the best to use for the health of yourself and your family.
Toxic Table Salt Sources
Salt is used in many foods that you may or may not be aware of. You can't always tell by reading the product label that it's present. And you can't always taste it in a recipe. Some places you can expect to find contaminated salt are:
- Processed Foods: Salt is added for taste and texture, as well as a preservative ingredient.
- Condiments: Many condiments that you use for flavoring either during cooking or as you dine (pepper, ketchup and duck sauce), contain salt.
- Other Foods: Dairy products, poultry and meat also may contain salt.
Many people believe that if they see sodium contained in mineral water, fruits, vegetables and practically everything else natural from the Earth that it is salt. This is not the case. Salt (Sodium Chloride) and natural sodium are two completely different compounds.
It's sometimes confusing. Some of the names that you may see on labels are very misleading and include part of the chemical name for salt which is sodium. Some of the compounds that you should be aware of may be high in synthetic sodium salts. Some common products are listed below.

- Sodium Alginate
- Sodium Nitrate or Nitrite

How Do I Use Himalayan Crystal Salt™?
There are some very innovative ways that you can take advantage of the natural minerals that Himalayan crystal salt has to offer. It's more than just a flavoring substance.
Some of these innovative uses for Himalayan crystal salt include salt lamps and foggers. You can add it to your bath water. Remember water activates the salt releasing its living essence. Your skin will be revitalized by the beneficial minerals in a salt water bath.
Other uses involve Sole /so-lay/, a very powerful mixture; some refer to it as liquid sunlight. Here's the very simple recipe6:
- 1 glass jar, size to your handling preference, with a lid (Mason Jars work well)
- Purified water - Avoiding municipal tap water due to the contaminants it contains
- Himalayan Crystal Salt, medium sized crystals that can fit in your jar
Place several crystals in the jar. Then pour in your purified water to cover crystals. When the crystals dissolve, add more crystals. You can add more water to reach the amount of solution you wish to have.
If the crystals dissolve completely again, add more crystals and let it stand. Once you have crystals that won't dissolve, then you know your water is saturated with crystal salt. Seal the jar to protect your solution from evaporation.
Daily, drink a teaspoonful in a glass of fresh purified water, and you'll be drinking the beneficial trace elements found in Himalayan Crystal Salt. This "liquid sunlight" preserves the vibrational energy of the salt so that you get the full effects of that as well.
Other uses for the Sole Solution:
- Clean open wounds (1% sole solution) — its natural antibacterial properties help to fight infections
- Wrap the body including joints or muscles (can be used in concentrated solutions as high as 26%)
- Rinse eyes (1% sole solution)
- Flush sinuses (1% sole solution)
- Gargling during sinus and throat infections (1% sole solution)
