Details
Heavy metals mostly metals, and most of them have high densities. They are:
- Naturally occurring components of the earth
- Never Destroyed or Degraded
- Poisonous at fairly low concentrations
- Difficult to expel from the body once infiltrated
Since heavy metals are poisonous, it's important that we keep them out of our environments as much as possible. Even after concerted effort is exerted, these toxins still manage to pose a threat.
Simple tests can be performed on hair or urine to find out if your body has these toxins present, because once they get into the body; these heavy metals don't just get expelled like other waste in a healthy functioning body. You'll need to take action to remove them.
There are tests you can perform at home. Four tests are available in Dr. Group's Heavy Metal Test Kit, listed below.
Mercury Heavy Metal Test
Mercury, a chemical element listed as a heavy metal, is of no use to the human body. Harmless in its insoluble form, in it's soluble form, (mercuric chloride or methylmercury), is it poisonous. Mercury can infiltrate and remain in several organs of the body including the kidneys and brain tissue, as well as a growing fetus and breast milk.
Mercury is found in many places, some quite unlikely, when you consider that no good comes from ingesting the element. For example, while it may seem likely toxins are produced from industrial processes, cosmetics industry seems to be an equally unlikely source, and yet there it is.
- Coal-Fired Power Plants
- Cinnabar as a component of Chinese, Tibetan and Ayurvedic medicine
- Mercury(I) Chloride (AKA calomel) used in medicine sometimes
- Industrial Processes
- Cosmetics Industries
The dangers of mercury are severe enough for anyone to understand, except maybe the people who continue to add it to products and ignore its presence in contaminated food and water. Possible effects of mercury toxicity are:
- Brain and central nervous system damage
- Impairment of pulmonary function
- Chest Pains
- Spontaneous Abortion
- Congenital Malformation
- Developmental Disorders in Young Children
Aluminum Heavy Metal Test
Aluminum is a neurotoxin that alters the blood-brain barrier, which is what protects the brain from chemicals entering the brain, without interfering with brain functions.
We're exposed to aluminum in:
- Water
- Antacids
- Vaccines
- Antiperspirants
- Contaminated Foods
- Cookware & Flatware
- Hemorrhoid Medications
- Cans Used For Food & Drinks
- Eating & Cooking Utensils
The body has no use for aluminum, so any present in your system is too much. The dangers of aluminum toxicity have shown up in:
- Breathing Problems
- Genital Abnormalities
- Allergic Reactions
- Chronic Fatigue & Weakness
Cadmium Heavy Metal Test
Cadmium is so similar to zinc that it fools the body, replacing the needed mineral. Cadmium presents similar problems of other heavy metals: difficult to expel, and poisonous at low levels.
Cadmium is a zinc-refinement by-product. The body has no use for cadmium. It's in many products on the market today including:
- Nickel Cadmium Batteries – Making the Batteries Presents the Danger
- Petroleum Products
- Phosphate Fertilizers
- Detergents
- Pigments – Most Commonly the Yellow Pigment
Cadmium toxicity has been linked to:
- Renal Dysfunction
- Lung Disease
- Bone Degeneration
- Increased Blood Pressure
- Several Types of Cancer
Lead Heavy Metal Test
Lead poisoning is rare these days. The risk may not come from lead in paint, and it's in more than impoverished areas. But, the dangers of lead are present, and in more invasive and unseen places.
- Fumes in the Air
- Contaminated Food and Water Supplies
- Particles in Soil
The health problems related to lead can be serious. Developing fetuses and infants are more sensitive to these than are adults. Health complications it's linked to include:
- Kidney Damage
- Obstruction of Hemoglobin Synthesis
- Acute Nervous System Damage
- Intellectual Development of Children
