Dr. Group's "Green Living" Cleanse
How to Create a Healthy, Clean, and GREEN living environment by eliminating toxins in your home and workplace! What if you could improve your health with just a few lifestyle changes? Would you consider it, even if it meant being green? Well, you can. And being green is not lame, anymore. In fact it's cool. People from all walks of life are getting in on the act. After all, who doesn't want to live healthier, especially if they're living longer? Once you make the effort to reuse, reduce toxic consumption, and recycle, you can easily remove harmful substances from your home and work environment by following the steps in this cleanse. I developed this cleanse to provide you with easy, at-home solutions for creating: A Green Home, A Green Workplace & A Green Life! Can you actually get sick or just feel chronically tired from being indoors? Is that a legitimate complaint? It's true! People suffer from chronic health symptoms that are not easily explained. Chronic symptoms are those that last longer than three months. If you experience anything that you can't explain, it may be caused by a toxic home or work environment. You could feel anxiety, headaches, allergies, fatigue, sleep problems, skin problems, depression, or sinus trouble, which can all be connected to your living environment. Most buildings and homes are built air tight and sealed to reduce leaking of cool air and heat to save electricity. The problem is that this good seal keeps in toxic particles and keeps out healthy air circulation, negative ions and oxygen from the fresh outdoor air. In the steps listed below, I will explain to you how you can transform your home and work environment into a safe, green and clean place to live and work! STEP 1: Clean the Air in Your Home & Workplace
Most people take in about 30,000 breaths of air each day in their home and work. The air quality in most living environments is so poor it is commonly overlooked as a cause of poor health. Our air is constantly being depleted of its vital oxygen content, and is infused with threatening toxins. This is hard on the body for two reasons. First the body requires oxygen to remove toxins efficiently. With an inadequate supply of oxygen that process is not as successful as it should be. Secondly, the oxygen poor air that we inhale is also toxin rich. So our air actually introduces into our bodies the very poisons that we want to avoid or remove. If all that isn't bad enough the majority of the toxins that we inhale come from indoors. You may be wondering what could be in your home or office that could make you ill. Does anything in this list sound like it might be in your home or office? Mildew, mold, paint fumes, microorganisms, smoke, or pet dander. These are just a few of the potential dangers you may be exposed to daily.
Is there cause for alarm? I would have to say yes, considering all the toxins that are present and the amount of time that we spend indoors. After all, "Indoors" can be many places: home, work, school, hair salons, shopping malls, libraries and restaurants. Daily exposure to toxic air increases the number of toxins entering your body every day! Luckily, you can improve the air quality of your home and work environments. Eliminating airborne pollutants significantly reduces your daily exposure to toxins, thereby increasing your health. Follow my "Green Living" Air Purification suggestions below to protect yourself and family from toxic indoor air.
STEP 2: Clean the Water in Your Home & Workplace!
You can do without food for an extended period of time, but you cannot obtain perfect health without pure clean toxin free water. The most common estimate is that the human body is about 70% water, 30% solid matter, depending upon your hydration state. Accepting that, is it any wonder that we start feeling bad when our bodies are deprived of water? All the work that the body does requires water, from digestion to waste elimination. The cleaner the water, the better it is for our bodies. This is why we have to be really careful about the water that we drink, and use in our home and office. Our water supplies, lakes, rivers and oceans are becoming increasingly polluted and toxic. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) lists over 80 chemicals that are potentially dangerous to ingest found in most tap water. How Does Contaminated Water Affect My Living Environment?Toxic Chemicals in Water:
All of these sources and more can expose you to toxic chemicals in water! The chemical toxins that are present in the water are hazardous to your health. First, we'll look at some shocking facts of the more common body damaging chemicals found in our public water supply. These include arsenic, fluoride, and chlorine.
Other Chemicals In Your Drinking Water:There are many other toxins in our water that present a danger to our health. To name a few, our water regularly contains perchlorate, bisphenols, phlalates, prescription drug residue, insecticide and pesticide residue and many more. Recently, bisphenols & phlalates used for the manufacturing of plastic water bottles have been classified as toxic compounds and actually leach into the bottled water so many people drink. Plastic bottles are also used and heated for baby's milk or formula, so the very young are being poisoned from the very early stages in their development. And, bisphenols are hormone disruptors and carcinogens! Learn More Here: What Other Toxic Chemicals in Water Affect my Health? And now for the GOOD News - There is always a solution for every situation!
STEP 3: Reduce the Stress in your Home & Workplace
Stress is an unavoidable fact of life. There's no getting around experiencing stress because good, happy events as well as bad events bring about stress. Bad stress, however, creates toxins which affect your physical and emotional well-being. How is this possible? Stress effectively weakens your body and decreases the capacity to prevent or fight off disease. The widespread effects of stress are progressively weakening the health of the entire nation. In fact, the American Institute of Stress considers it America's primary health concern. It sure doesn't help to have our media blast killings and negatively based news stories on TV, radio and in newspapers.
One man's bad stress (distress) is another man's good stress (eustress). Good stress is the excited feeling you get in times of joy or when you accomplish positive things in your life. Research has found that short blasts of exciting "Good" stress can actually strengthen the immune system.14 The problem with stress is the distress, the bad stress. Bad stress presents in many ways, including anxiety, fear, depression, jealousy, resentment, anger or other negative emotions. These types of stress are commonly brought on by a toxic environment at home and work. Prolonged levels of any negative emotion or distress can cause the body to release excess levels of stress hormones (such as corticosteroids). The body is very sensitive to stress responses and its ability to function is easily disrupted by lingering stress. Over time, stress can increase one's appetite, alter digestive function and lead to unwanted weight gain or other symptoms13 such as:

STEP 4: Reduce the Radiation & Geopathic Stress in your Home & Workplace
How is radiation harmful to humans? You can't see it, taste it, hear it, smell it, or feel it, so why is it so bad? Even though radiation is invisible, its damaging effects to the body are real and potentially life threatening. We now know that the effects of long-term exposure to low-level radiation can be just as deadly as a nuclear blast. Electromagnetic radiation is a form of energy emitted in the form of particles or waves. This harmful electromagnetic field radiation (EMF) penetrates your body on a daily basis from common devices and machines in your home and office. Power lines, cellphones, computers, transformers, fluorescent lights, clock radios, and even hair dryers are just a few of the modern devices that emit dangerous electromagnetic field radiation. In addition to man made sources of radiation, fault lines under the ground are natural sources of potentially harmful radiation and create what is called Geopathic Stress. When electromagnetic radiation penetrates living matter, it causes ionization (the loss of electrons) from healthy atoms. This affects our DNA, and can result in chromosomal mutation, cellular damage, disease and ultimately death. We lose electrons by Watching TV, talking on our cell phone, computer usage, working in an office with fluorescent lighting and many other common daily activities. Our bodies are healthy when we gain electrons - not lose them! We gain electrons by walking in the woods or along the beach, breathing pure oxygen, and eating live fruits and vegetables. Unfortunately, in our currently toxic world, losing electrons is much easier than gaining them. Most people do not even know about the harmful effects of radiation. You may think, "Hey, a little radiation when I surf the Internet, watch TV, or talk on my cellphone won't hurt. It's not like I'm sticking my head in the microwave oven." Well, guess again, it does matter! Research shows that daily, low doses of radiation increase your risk of developing several different forms of cancer.15 John Gofman, professor emeritus of Medical Physics at UC Berkeley and an expert on radiation's health effects states, "There is no safe threshold. If this truth is known, then any permitted radiation is a permit to commit murder."16 Dr. Gofman certainly knows what he's talking about since he helped produce plutonium for the Manhattan Project, which was the United States' top secret program for developing the first atomic bombs. The links below examine some harmful sources of radiation affecting us on a daily basis and how to eliminate them.
