wellness water carafe - revisited

Postby shadow on Mon May 30, 2005 5:21 am

hi,

just wondering how often you might have to replace the filter on the water welness carafe if you were using filtered (or ozonated i think) water from bottles.

this is to be used in thailand were the water is devoid of any content, effectively dead water. it comes in bottles, and i don't think there is any chlorine whatsoever (or anything else). it tastes bad and does virtually nothing for you.

i just wanted a way to effectively spruce up the water, adding trace elements and making it 'alive' again.

would the carafe be good for this?

thank you.

Hi

Each cartridge filters approx. 40 gallons of water.

so the quality of the water put into the carafe has no bearing whatsoever on how long the cartridge will last?

also... if you are putting in devoid water, will it come out with trace ions in the water?

shadow.

Hi Shadow

I am working on getting an answer for you about the carafe as I want to make sure that it is correct. Just wanted to let you know that I have not overlooked your question. As soon as I get the answer I will post it.

Hi Shadow

The quality of the water definitely will affect the life of a cartridge. The harder the water, the less of a lifespan you are going to get out of the carafe. The two month life span of a cartridge is based on tap water application.

Devoid water that is put through our filters will come out with the mineral enhancement. Many people run Reverse Osmosis systems before our filters, just for the mineral enhancement.
