Vaccination and candida

Postby romain_a on Sat Sep 30, 2006 1:25 pm

Hi,

I have received when I was younger (around 13-14 years old, I am now 22 years old) regular vaccines (every week for some time, then every month for a total of a year or so) against allergies of dust and pollen. I have also been diagnosed with mild asthma when I was younger but it never really was a danger. I realized, after browsing for information on phlegm, that I have had several symptoms of candida for some years of years already. I also did the spitting test for candida, and what happened with my saliva was exactly what they were describing.

- Could there be a link between my vaccination, asthma and candida infection?
- Could the symptoms that I suffer from (mostly fatigue, decreased sexual desire, diarreah, feeling of weakness and helplessness, loss of interest, numbess, problem of concentration, blocked nose and throat, coughing, sneezing, problem breathing) be more than simply a candida problem?
- Do you have any product or suggestion to eliminate these symptoms?

I will greatly appreciate any insight that you might give me.

Thank you very much.

It is possible that there is a link between candida and the other allergy symptoms that you suffer from. It is definitely possible that there are other causes or contributing factors such as an impaired immune system, food allergies/sensitivities, or any one of a number of things. However, cleansing and addressing the possible candida issue is an excellent place to start.

Organic Oil of Oregano, Silver Fuzion, and Latero-flora probiotic work very well for people that suffer from candida. Diet, of course, is crucial in helping to counter a yeast overgrowth; typical anti-yeast diets emphasize the reduction or elimination of most processed foods, especially those that include processed sugars and starches. It is probably best to avoid sugary/starchy fruits as well. Alcohol and fermented foods can also aggravate the problem. In reality, people differ somewhat in terms of the foods that increase the likelihood of overgrowth, but these recommendations are fairly standard. Following are some other suggestions that may help to reduce the toxicity of your body and increase the chance that your body can cope more efficiently with allergenic invaders:
• Perform a colon cleanse- You can use an oxygen-based colon cleanser such as Oxy-Powder in order to help eliminate compacted fecal matter in the intestines and oxygenate the intestines. This is important in your case because it can help to create an environment that is less hospitable to candida overgrowth, which in turn should allow the intestines to heal themselves. Candida overgrowth is often associated with above-normal permeability of the gut; this, in turn, can allow undigested proteins and bacteria to enter the bloodstream and cause or aggravate allergies, headaches, or other sensitivities.
• Perform a liver/gallbladder flush- This process helps to reduce the toxic burden of the liver as well as remove gallstones and stagnant bile. Optimum liver function is very important because this is the body’s primary filter for toxins. It can also affect digestion and, therefore, the rest of the digestive tract. A good protocol can be found at www.ghchealth.com/liver-and-gallbladder-flush.html.
• Perform a parasite cleanse- Using Paratrex, you can begin to reduce parasites that dwell in you body and rob it of beneficial nutrients. These unwanted guests can also dump toxic material into your system that can dramatically weaken your immune system and make you susceptible to many other problems. You can use Oxy-Powder on the maintenance dose while taking Paratrex.
• Cover your nutritional bases- Intramax and Quantum Greens can provide the basic nutrients that your body and, in particular, your immune system needs in order to function properly.
• Other nutrients- Once you have the basics covered, there a many other supplements that could be beneficial. These include Opti-MSM, Vitamin C (natural, non-corn source), quercitin, systemic enzymes (Zymitol), and certain homeopathic remedies specific to your sensitivities.
