Because the uterine septum is a genetic malformation of the uterus itself, there isn’t a natural cure to remove it. There are supplements that you can take in order to improve your chances of conception; however, if the embryo implants itself on the septum itself, there is still a greater likelihood of miscarriage. All of the research that I have been able to locate on this procedure claims that it results in much higher rates of carriage to term.

If you do have the procedure, I would still strongly suggest a few things to improve chances of conception and your overall health. First, I would work with a naturopath or other naturally-oriented physician to make sure that your hormone levels are optimum. Women often have an imbalance in their estrogens-to-progesterone ratio that can make conception very difficult. Saliva tests are more sensitive in this area and can reveal the imbalance even if blood tests do not. If supplementation is necessary, I would suggest considering progesterone cream that contains bio-identical progesterone. This is a hormone that is chemically identical to the one that is produced within the body. Additionally, Intramax, a highly-absorbable multi-nutrient complex, can provide you with many necessary nutrients in order to support nearly every function of the body. Zymitol, a plant-derived enzyme complex, and Latero-flora, beneficial bacteria for your intestinal tract, can provide some additional support for your body.

Regarding side effects of the surgery, every citation that I have been able to locate indicates that the success rate is very high and that pregnancy outcomes are much better.
