Use of Oxy-Powder during liver cleanse

Postby ellie64 on Thu Jun 09, 2005 4:28 pm

Hi,

I just finished a colon cleanse (with another company's product) over Memorial Day weekend and it was a fascinating experience to say the least. I lost five pounds and my vision improved a little. I also feel looser in the hips and more flexible in the back, no doubt due to the extra weight I was carrying in my colon being flushed out.

Anyway, now I have started on a month-long liver cleanse. And I am supposed to avoid rice and potatoes while on it. I am allergic to wheat, corn, dairy, and sugar, and as you can imagine I eat a lot of meat and rice. I love rice. Anyway, I had every intention of cutting back on meat so that my colon won't become impacted again, but it's not gonna happen this month due to the liver cleanse. You know where I'm going with this!

I do not want my colon to get impacted again. My stool is quite hard, although I am having bowel movements every day, yet they are small and hard. I found my bottle of Oxy-Powder, and I don't want to do an entire cleanse with it, but I would like to take a few capsules each night just to keep things moving a little better. Would this be OK during the liver cleanse, or is all this cleansing too much at once?

I will not live the rest of my life on laxatives. I want to be as natural as possible and just have my body work right.

Thanks!

Hi,

Looks like I found a possible solution to my problem. I've found a post on flax seeds that says they are excellent for relieving constipation. I will try them!!

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
Ellie

Hi Ellie

Yes, you can certainly take Oxy-Powder. I would suggest a maintenance dosage of maybe 4-5 capsules at night right before bed.

Flax seed is good for constipation, but remember that you will be getting the benefit of added oxygen to the digestive tract and the germanium 132 from using Oxy-Powder.

Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for responding.
Right now, I am taking a couple of tablespoons of flax seed at night and also 5-6 prunes before bed. I've noticed a big improvement in my bowel movements already, and am thankful for it. I'm feeling really good.
I bought my Oxy-Powder back in November, and I read another post that said I got the "weakened" version and that GHC was returning to the original version in April. So I will probably get a new bottle to keep on hand.
Thanks again!!
