Use of Oxy-Powder After Being Diagnosed

Postby Guest on Tue Mar 22, 2005 12:05 am

I would like to use your product (Oxy-Powder) for detoxification and bowel cleansing but I am not sure that it would be safe for someone who has been diagnosed with mild-to-moderate ulcerative colitis. There is blood (not a whole lot) in the stool and sometimes on the toilet paper. I have used the prescription medication 'Rowasa' (enema-style). It was a 4-week regime and the problem seemed to be clearing. But after the 4-weeks ended, the problem returned in a week and a half. Doctor prescribed another 4-weeks on the medication which I have yet to start. I'm looking for a natural way of healing this condition. I've read about your product and wonder if a bowel cleansing and detox is just what I may need. But as I indicated earlier, I am very leary and don't know the repercussions behind using this product while having this condition. Will this product exasperate the ulcerative colitis or will it help this condition to the point of not needing prescribed medications? Please help me understand how your product interacts with medical problems such as the one I've been diagnosed with? I've used Aloe Vera MP capsules and they seemed to help the problem a little but there is still blood in the stool? I've added a lot more fruit and veggies in my diet and I have been a vegetarian for 32 years. I exercise regularly (brisk walking, hiking and aerobics). I would really like to give your product a try but not before getting some information on the safety of using this product.

Thank you for your time

Hi,

I'm still waiting on a response to the question below. I sent this message a week ago and I know that you are busy but I just wanted to know if you had received it. Your product sounds promising but I need to know a little bit more facts before I try it. By the way, I went back on the "Rowasa". This is a 4-week regime whose side effects include slight dizziness and headaches. Could I use your product while using the "Rowasa". Would appreciate a reply as soon as possible.

Thank you

Hi,

I did post an answer to your question and it is under the questions dated March 21, 2005. Also, we usually only answer the questions that are posted under the "Ask The Doctor" although we do moderate the other forums and to pop-in once in a while.

Below is the answer I gave:

Hi

Actually Oxy-Powder can be very healing to bowel disorders. Since you are experiencing blood in the bowel it is recommended that you start out with 1/2 the maintenance dosage and not do a cleanse. You also will want to take a good probiotic like Latero-Flora to help heal the bowel.

I would also suggest Calcium Orotate, healthy diet, exercise and drinking half your body weight in ounces of distilled water with organic apple cider vinegar added every day.

Diet is very important in healing the bowel. The Transforming Your Health in 90 Days e-book (www.ghchealth.com) contains a very healing diet in that the digestive tract is given a "rest" since the foods that are recommended are very easy to disgest. I would also suggest eliminating dairy, wheat, red meat and sugar for 1 month to allow healing of the bowel.

Have a great week!
