stomach acids/immune system

isn't the stomach acids in the gut strong enough to kill parasite larva from improperly cooked/raw meats??
also,why dosen't the immune system destroy parasites automaticly? they are foreign beings after all, i don't see why the body dosen't automaticly reject them

Unfortunately, parasites have developed many different ways in which to evade detection by the human body. These can vary from species to species but are often very effective. Many parasites do survive the trip through the stomach; some are even enclosed in cysts to insure safe passage. You must remember that that the body does not automatically reject any and all foreign beings, some bacteria in particular are actually quite beneficial for the digestive tract and rest of the body.

The other important point to take into consideration is that many people have poor digestion and a weak immune system. This is the result of stress, poor diet, environmental exposure to electromagnetic radiation, pollution, drugs, negative emotions, and a whole list of other factors. Never take for granted that the human body performs optimally when it is subjected to a poor environment and denied good nutrition.
