Root canals!!!

Do root canals cause degenerative diseases? I recently had one and a crown on it now I feel arthritis in my elbow joints. Am I in danger? Should I have it removed? I am going to. Not only do I think it is a ripoff I think its a knock against the Lord and God. They made teeth to leave the body at a certain time NOT for man to fill them and leave them in. I don't care about looks that is not why they should be done.
