I still have another question regarding the redmark, because I am a smoker and I also drink alcohol from time to time. Will this affect the healing time? Or should I reduce smoking and alcohol?

And BTW do I have to avoid sun?

Hi

I would always suggest that alcohol consumption be very moderate at best and that you work on quitting smoking---mostly for your over all health and well-being. Smokers tend to have a difficult time in getting the skin to heal properly or in the time frame that a non-smoker would observe.

I would suggest using an all-natural sunscreen for this area of your skin. We all need at least 30 minutes of sun exposure daily in order for Vitamin D production. Do not use regular sunscreens as they are full of chemicals.
