Dental Products without Flouride?

Postby KingOfHearts on Sun Jun 18, 2006 12:05 am

Do any of you have a set of products you use that do not contain flouride?

What about soaps and shampoos?

DEFINITLY!

After reading more about how the form of flouride used in our water and toothpastes is actually the toxic, more readily available and cheaper version , I will not buy any mouthrinse or toothpaste with it .

I now use Jason's non-flouride toothpaste. Burt's Bee's also makes non-flouride and also non-sulfite toothpastes-- with all natural ingredients.

I also use an Aryuvedic type--that costs about $4.50 a tube-- and has licorice root added and peelu extracts. Tastes very good as well.

Waleda also makes several non-flouride toothpastes using Sea salt , various herbal extractions and baking soda.

Ironically, my teeth are so white anymore, that people are asking me what I use- or if I use those whitening strips. If I mention the toothpastes, they lose interest, because people are afraid of change.

It is what it is-- My teeth were always yellow when I used flouride toothpastes--even the whitening type. My gums were never as healthy either.
