Hello,
I started eating a lot of raw vegan food about 7 months ago and recently increased my daily raw food intake to 90 - 95%, but I still need to lower my body fat, which is around 28% right now. I am a 46-year old, post-menopausal female, 5' 2", 118 lbs. I take 3 Oxy-powder capsules every other day, and exercise everyday (weight training 3x/week, high intensity interval training 3x/week, kundalini yoga & Tai Chi 1/week).
I'm quite confused about how much fat I should consume per day. A lot of raw foodists are transitioning to 80-10-10 (80% carb, 10% protein, 10% fat) diet lately, and they don't recommend eating many avocados. Dr. Group says he eats 2 avocados a day. Is it okay to eat 3 avocados per week while trying to decrease my body fat and also consume 15 - 20% fat, such as olive oil, hemp oil, and raw nuts & seeds?
Thank you.
