This is an unusual case. Excessive body odor can have many possible causes, ranging from excessive sweating, diabetes, genetic condition, medication, dietary choices, clothing choices, nutritional deficiency, or excessive toxicity. I am a little bit of a loss that the problem is aggravated by soap, but there may still be measures that you can take in order to help. Some suggestions are as follows:
• Perform a full body cleanse- This includes a colon cleanse, liver/gallbladder flush, and a parasite cleanse. An excellent protocol can be found at
www.ghchealth.com/liver-and-gallbladder-flush.html. The colon cleanser that is used for this cleanse is also very useful as an oxygenating the colon and entire body. Cleansing is particularly to reduce the toxic material throughout the body, particularly in the colon and liver. In addition to this cleanse, a far-infrared sauna can help to detoxify the body by helping to release toxins that are stored within the fatty layers immediately underneath the skin.
• Watch your diet- A diet that is primarily raw and organic is much more nutrient-dense and is lower in toxins than one that is composed of more processed foods. Increasing your intake of dietary nutrients while decreasing harmful food additives and other chemicals could alter your skins secretions. In addition, drinking at least ½ your body weight in ounces of water per day can help to chemicals released from the body and aid in detoxification.
• Increase your greens- Increasing plant nutrients and particularly chlorophyll may help to reduce body odor. Products such as Quantum Greens and E3 Live would be great for this purpose.
• Mushroom Extract- There are some mushroom extracts, from the champignon mushroom, that claim to help reduce breath, body, and fecal odor. This may be a supplement worth a try.
• Zinc- Some individuals that have unusual body odor test low in zinc. The ideal form of this mineral is zinc orotate. I would also suggest a multi nutrient blend like IntraMax to help cover all of your nutritional bases.
• Natural products- You should be aware that many soaps and shampoos today are really more of a chemistry experiment than a simple cleaning product. Many even include items such as triclosan, listed as a pesticide, in their long list of ingredients. Try switching over to products that use only natural ingredients. Be aware that many products masquerade as natural but still use many synthetic ingredients. Laundry soaps, shampoos, and other body care items should also be transitioned to natural products. Wearing more natural, breathable fibers such as cotton may help if excessive sweating is involved.
I am not sure that this would addresses the specific cause of your unusual problem, but it may offer you some ideas that you will likely not hear from a traditional MD.
