Please help me out

Postby jack100 on Sun Sep 03, 2006 9:49 am

Hi all,

I'm a 42 yrs. old man. I've passed my 10 years of married life. I didn't have any problem in my sexual life. But from few months back I'm not getting interested like before. I've heard Ayurvedic Shwet Musali is good for maintaining youthful vigour and vitality. But I never tried it. Can anybody tell me about it? I'll welcome any suggestion from your side.

Thanks in advance.

Shwet Musali is a traditional Ayurvedic remedy that is and has been used to maintain sexual interest. It is believed to work by stimulating the production of Luteinizing hormone and Follicule-stimulating hormone. LH can stimulate the Leydig cells in the testes to produce more testosterone. This, in turn, should increase the sexual desire. Another herb, tribulus terrestris, may be useful I conjunction with Shwet Musali or alone. In studies, it has been shown to increase blood flow to the genitals and may also have an influence on androgen (male hormone) receptors in the hypothalamus as well as testosterone release. There are many other herbs that may potentially be helpful, including Ginkgo Bilobal, Catuaba, Muira Puama, Macuna Pruriens, Epimedium, and others. Please keep in mind that insuring your nutrient intake is as important or more important than many of the herbs. Many traditional aphrodisiacs work by providing certain basic nutrients that may be low or missing in the diet. I suggest trying Intramax to insure your daily intake.

There are many factors that can affect loss of libido. Medication, overall health, depression, stress, emotional issues, and sleep deprivation represent just a few of the many possibilities. I would seriously consider trying some body detoxification as a starting point. A colon cleanse, liver/gallbladder flush, and parasite cleanse can aid in the removal of toxins and open up the body’s channels of elimination. This can very important where hormones are concerned as the liver is responsible for processing excess hormones and hormone metabolites. I would strongly recommend working with a naturopath or chiropractor and having a thorough hormone panel conducted using salivary testing. If necessary, they can also provide counseling and guidance which may help to resolve any emotional issues that may be contributing. Also, if impotence is an issue, you may want to discuss the possibility of chelation therapy with your physician; EDTA suppositories, Medicardium, works very well for this.
