Parasites/arthropods/bad unresolvable problem

Postby selba on Mon Sep 04, 2006 10:43 am

Hi. I just happened upon this website and thought I'd shoot my problem out there to see if you have any suggestions.

in 1992 I lived in Puerto Rico, while working in a povery area. I lived in a place with 20 other people and slept on the mattresses they had there. Everything was very poor and very likely very unhealthy.

I got a bad case of lice while there and at the time I washed my hair w/ some lice shampoo, but the lice were still there when I came back awhile later. I cut my hair short and washed again. While there I also got some wierd white spots on my arms, maybe a fungus or something, and also impetigo on my face.

A little bit after that, I started noticing some sort of flies or something flying seemingly off of me, and I was losing hair and I was itchy all over. It was very disconcerting and I went to see a dermatologist, who said that there was nothing wrong with me, and gave me something to relieve the itchiness, which didn't do anything. I went to another dermatologist later who also said that there was nothing wrong with me after checking a hair sample and sample of the substance on my scalp.

Through the years I have been to many dermatologists and doctors and have brought samples of the bugs and nits that I have found on my person and no one has had any answers except that maybe I'm unbalanced, or that I have lice again (got that one a couple of times and washed with the prescription stuff). I of course am not unbalanced and have simply been trying to find a way to get rid of these awful parasites.

lately, the past years, the parasites seem to be varied, and are on my skin, my head and my ears and nose. The ones in my nose start off like long (maybe a half inch or so) wormlike things that are mucous on the outside and have a black strip on the inside. they turn into these flies that look similar. They are long and black with wings and a little round head. looks kind of like a mosquito and they fly in a very sporadic and jumpy pattern.

There are also other flies that come off of what seems to be my head, and I have little nits on my neck, face back and head.

Since this has been ongoing for, what, almost 15 years now, I am not very hopeful that anyone can help, but every once in awhile I decide to try to find a cure again. This time it's because my daughter who is 2.5 years old, has been showing symptoms, and that is what is really making me try to find resolution, and honestly which is petrifying me. She too has started to have an itchy nose and has had these wormlike things (fly larvae?) coming out, mucousy with a black strip inside. She also has had random acne-like spots on her face and one on her scalp that are similar to mine. I washed her hair with Nix, but I know from experience that this is not going to do anything...

I feel very helpless, and figured I'd give this forum a try.

A while back I also tried some sort of Paratrex™ thing (not that name) and took a ton for awhile.

Anyhow, I completely appologize if this is the wrong forum for this inquiry, but I thought I saw some kind of similar questions, so thought I'd give it a shot.

Also, if you know of anywhere or anyone who specializes in parasites (I went to Arizona maybe 5 years ago to speak with someone, but it was ineffective), and who can think outside the box, I would completely appreciate any referrals.

thank you in advance for any input at all into this very unique situation.

all my best.

From your description, it does sound as if you have a very bad parasitic infestation. There are, of course, many different parasite cleansers on the market, some of which are effective and others which are less so. In reality, the quality of the ingredients in a product can make the difference between an effective product and one that does not provide any noticeable results. It makes sense to begin with a series of cleanses. I would suggest starting with a colon cleanse using Oxy-Powder, an oxygen-based colon cleanser. Once the individual dosage has been determined, the cleanse is continued for 7 days. After this, a liver/gallbladder flush can help to clean the liver of unwanted toxins and gallstones. This step can be very important as parasites often general toxic metabolites. Also, as parasites begin to die-off, they can increase the toxicity of the body; the liver will deal with the majority of these toxins. At this point, I suggest beginning a 6-week cleanse with Paratrex™. This cleanse lasts approximately the length of the life-cycle of many parasites. Please keep in mind that you can continue to take the Oxy-Powder every other day during this time in order to facilitate the elimination of toxins.
In reality, a severe parasitic infestation may require taking a maintenance dosage of Paratrex™ for a period of time. There are also secondary considerations: detoxification, diet, hydration, nutritional support, and other anti-parasite options.
• Although the cleansing does much to detoxify the body, it is a process that can be more intense for someone with a long-standing case of parasites. I would consider massages in order to help move toxins through the lymphatic system, possibly a mini-trampoline system for the same purpose, and use of a far-infrared sauna.
• Consider eating primarily a raw, organic diet that is rich in fruits and vegetables. It is best to reduce or eliminate junk and processed foods, white sugar, white flour, alcohol, and micro-waved food.
• Drink at least ½ your body weight in ounces of clean water (not tap) every day. If you are feeing the effects of detoxification such as fatigue, mental “fog,” joint or muscle aches, minor rashes, irritability, and others, I would consider increasing this amount in order to flush put the body.
• I would consider taking a product such as IntraMax in order to insure that you are receiving optimal amounts of all of your vitamins and minerals. This product can also promote detoxification itself; the manufacturer often recommends beginning at a decreased dose and increasing to 1 oz per day or more.
• I would also suggest trying a zapper, Terminator II. This is a small electrical device that introduces a tiny negative current through the skin which can aid in the elimination of parasites.

Please keep in mind that these are really only initial steps that you may take. It is possible that you may need to follow up with other protocols, depending on what is happening in your individual circumstances. You may suffer form a depleted immune system, candida (systemic yeast) infection, leaky gut, or many other possibilities. Also, if possible, I would recommend working with a naturopath or chiropractor in your area that can monitor and guide you on your quest for renewed health. Following is an online referral system for the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians: naturopathic.lv0.net/DesktopDefault.aspx?tabindex=51&tabid=59. This can assist you in locating a practitioner in your area.
