Oxypowder for immune deficiencies

Postby colsjpr on Wed May 11, 2005 9:21 am

Hi,
I am taking Interferon, and Ribavarin, for Hepatitis C. I was taking Milk thistle, and IGF-1, and bovine colostrum (liquid) before, and during the treatment. I began treatment in January '05, and as of mid April, I am negative for the Hep C, but I must continue until mid-July.
I am also HIV+ (have been since age 7...23 years ago) and have never taken meds for it. My question is, I want to take Oxypowder, and possibly do the liver cleanse. Should I wait until I am off the Interferon, and Ribavarin? And what precautions do I need to take since I am HIV+? I have never taken anything to cleanse my colon.
Thank you for your help!

Hi

As far as we know there are no contraindications when taking Oxy-Powder with prescription meds as long as the Oxy Powder is taken 6 hours before or 6 hours after the medicine. It is always best to check with your healthcare professional before adding any supplement to your regimen.
