OxyPowder and plaque

Postby Sunny on Sun Feb 27, 2005 5:39 am

Can you tell me if Oxy Powder is meant to remove the "mucoid plaque" that so many speak about - they say is comes out in "ropes" when on other types of cleanses...
Does the Oxy Powder liquefy this substance as well as the impacted feces?

Thanks,
Sunny

Hi Sunny,

Yes, Oxy-Powder will remove mucoid plaque. You will probably not see any ropes because of the oxygen actually "melting" the old fecal matter. Oxy Powder will thoroughly cleanse the entire digestive tract.

about the mucoid plaque again..

Postby Sunny on Mon Feb 28, 2005 4:18 am

Thank you for your response! That does make me feel a lot better! I do wonder though, why this is not mentioned on the oxy-powder site? Is it because "mucoid plaque" is not a scientific term?

Also, it brings up a few more questions...
If the Oxy-Powder is liquifying the plaque, when does this happen? Is it during the initial cleanse week, or does one keep losing the plaque during the maintenance program?

I am now on day 7 of the first cleanse, and my "output" seems to correspond roughly (amount-wise) with what I have eaten each day. On day 6 I did not have any bowel movement whatever, even though I took 10 capsules the night before. I do feel pretty "empty", and I feel a lot better than I have in ages, but how will I know tha the "mucoid plaque" has been released?

Thanks so much in advance for any answers!

Sunny

How does one know when mucoid plaque is illiminated?

Hello,

I've read Sunny's response and I also wonder when we're at that stage when we can be assured that our years of built up mucoid plaque is actually leaving our bodies? Is there a test that we can take that can assess this? If the plaque is so built up, can we be mistaken by our watery stools thinking that plaque is going when, in reality, its sticking to the walls? I've just started this treatment (second day) so I'm learning this process and would love to be educated further on this. Thank you!

By the way, my first morning waking up (4 capsules), I've experience heavy girgling through my colon..the feeling of the girgling and the releases are new and interesting experiences for me. So far, I'm excited to what awaits me this week!

Blesssings,

Kim

Hi,

I just finished a five-day fast/colon cleanse with another company's product, and yes, it does come out in rubbery ropes. It smells like toxic waste and is quite disturbing. However, after the first copule of bowel movements you get used to it. I'm a small person, and lost 5 pounds. I, too, wonder if I got it all out of me. I had 30 bowel movements over a four-day period, so you'd think I got it all, but sure enough, my stool is back to being small and hard just a week after the cleanse. It's frustrating. My abdomen is still pretty "flat" compared to what it was before, and I'm thankful for it. I was one of those women who looked like I was pregnant when I wasn't. I feel a lot better now, but don't want my colon to become impacted again. That's why I posted my other question about using Oxy-Powder for maintenance even though I didn't cleanse with it.

Hope this helps!!

Hi,
Me again. I just wanted to let you know that I found a post on flax seeds the other night and I ran out and bought some. They are supposed to be really good for constipation and also contain Omega-3's. I've taken two tablespoons along with 5-6 prunes before bed the past few nights and it's doing the trick. I'm having good bowel movements and feel great. I was worried that my colon would become impacted all over again, but not any more.
Just wanted to let you know if you feel yourself bloating up again after you're done with your cleanse.
Thanks and good luck,
Ellie
