Oxy-Zap for baby's skin

Postby SusanP on Sun Apr 17, 2005 5:19 am

Is it safe to use Oxy-Zap - the Oxygenated Olive Oil treatment - to rub onto my babies bad skin? He is 4 months old with reactive skin - red, dry and itchy. His father has similar type skin, so he seems to have inherited it somewhat. He is breastfed with one bottle of formula at night. We don't use any forms of soap on him and I use Sorbelene creme on him when his skin flares up. He tends to only get it on his face, scalp and chest area, which makes me think it is a reaction to something in the environment. His Dad reacts to some perfumes/deodorants, some soaps and lots of outside grasses and pollens, so I presume it could be similar. Would your Oxy-Zap product help?

Hi Susan,

Yes, Oxy-Zap is safe to use on a baby. I would suggest that you give it a try. I would suggest that you make sure that it does not get in the baby's eyes.
