Oxy Powder & IBS

Postby reawaken on Wed Aug 10, 2005 3:42 am

I have a client that has IBS opposite to constipation, therefore has runny stools. Would she be ok in using Oxy Powder as most of the information I have found talks about IBS with constipation and this is cleary not the case in this instance. I am concerned if she already has runny stools will Oxy Powder help her condition or make it worse.

Hi

As long as there is no blood present then it will be ok to use Oxy-Powder. I would suggest using the maintenance dosage and starting out with just 2-3 capsules. If you see that it is making her symptoms worse then I would suggest that you stop the Oxy-Powder. Oxy-Powder is great for healing the intestinal tract. Make sure that the client is doing the following:

1) Using a good probiotic.
2) Healthy diet (eliminate sugar, gluten and grains)
3) Unrefined coconut oil
3) Enzymes (Zymitol)
4) Freshly ground flax seed can help with loose stools
4) Stress reduction techniques
5) Lots of pure, clean water
