oxy powder hcl

HI I was wondering if it was hcl specifically that reacted with op or was it just an acidic enviroment that did it? Can you open the capsule and put it in a glass of lemon juice and drink it that way. The reason I ask is that I thought that it may have to be in a capsule so the body would release hcl to try and break the cap down or would it release hcl anyway. I thought it would be better to open and mix the op with the lemon juice because i thought by the time the capsule dissolved the lemon juice would be gone?? Or maybe it was lemon juice that released hcl??

Basically i wont to know how to make sure there is enough acid, can I just drink alot of lemon juice after i take op.

Just to let you know i dont have a hcl problem or think there is a problem but if there is a way that i can increase it's effectivness then I would like to do it.

Thanks
latin

Because HCl is the type of acid that is naturally present within the stomach, this is the primary type of acid that Oxy-Powder will react with after it is taken. There is also citric acid with the formula itself to potentiate this reaction. As soon as the capsule dissolves, the citric acid will also come into contact with liquid and will activate. In lab analysis, the citric acid itself has been sufficient to continue the release of oxygen from Oxy-Powder. If you add some lime/lemon in water, this will also increase the amount of acid present. Oxy-Powder capsules can be opened and mixed in water if you prefer; the formula was initially released as a powder and was used very successfully in that form. Including some lemon/lime juice in water with the capsules does decrease the number of capsules required to produce 3-5 bowel movements for some people, especially in cases of low HCl.
