oregao oil-RX for candida

Postby bambi on Fri May 26, 2006 7:34 am

Hi, I believe I have a candida problem and have been following the anti-candida diet for about 2 months now, and taking garlic, grapefruit seed extrcat and caprylic acid plus probiotics. However, I dont feel like I'm really attacking the problem aggresively enough, and I've heard that oil of oregano is very effective against candida.
I've read that it has to be taken in the form of enteric coated capsules, and in the info about Oregano Oil-RX you say that you have to insert the oil into capsules before taking, but are they enteric coated? And how much is safe to take, while attacking the candida as quickly as possibe?
Any info much aprreciated! x

Oregano oil can be very effective, even when it is not taken in an enteric-coated capsule. I would recommend taking it with a meal in order to avoid any oregano reflux. Oregano oil RX comes as a liquid which can be placed into capsules for internal use. As with many herbs, oregano can also be used externally. I would recommend diluting it with a healthy oil such as olive oil first because this oregano is extremely potent and can irritate the skin otherwise. The dosage that is generally used is 5 drops 3X daily for at least two months. This is often used in conjunction with Silver Fuzion™ and a probiotic supplement such as Latero-Flora.

Diet is crucial for someone that regularly experiences an overgrowth of candida. It is very important to cut down on sugar and junk food and eat more live (uncooked) nutritious foods. Many people find that a digestive enzyme such as Zymitol is helpful to maintain complete digestion of foods. A colon cleanse followed by a parasite cleanse can support the body while fighting yeast problems; detailed instructions can be found at www.ghchealth.com/liver-and-gallbladder-flush.html.
