Oregano Oil-RX for Toe Fungus

I'm interested in purchasing the Oregano Oil for toe fungus and I have a few questions. What would be the best way to take the oil? Orally or apply it directly to the toes? And the $30 bottle, does that come with the empty capsules to put the drops in or would I need to purchase those seperately?


Also are there any side effects to the liver? I can't take anything that will effect my liver.

Organic oil of Oregano is best used internally according to the label instruction. You can place 5 drops in the capsules, which are provided, and take it twice a day with a meal. Be aware that fungal overgrowth is a systemic problem and that toenails grow quite slowly. This said, the oregano oil is probably best used for a period of 3 months or more. It is also recommended to cycle this product for 6 weeks on and 2 weeks off, as we have found this to be more effective in the long run. The oil can also be placed directly on your toes; however, I would only suggest doing this if you first dilute it in 5-10 drops of organic olive oil or tea tree oil. It is quite strong and may burn if not diluted.

In regards to the liver, oil of oregano promotes the secretion of bile and can be used as a digestive aid. This means that it should be quite safe and healthy for the liver. If you have existing liver damage, I would consult with a qualified naturopath or herbalist before adding any new supplements to your regimen.
