More Terminator 2 Questions

Last night I opened the box in order to remove the battery. When I was removing the battery it touched the round piece of metal (magnet?) and it got stuck to it for a couple of seconds. I removed quickly though.

Can I still use the battery after it got stuck on the piece of metal?
Is my terminator ruined?


Another question, I touched that round piece of metal and it felt weird. Is it safe to touch?

Ive been using my terminator everyday now for a couple of months, and everyday after I use it I clean the pennies. Is it normal for someone to produce black dots on the pennies everyday even after several months of use?

Don’t worry; the battery normally sits close to the magnet and should not be affected at all by simply sticking to it for a few seconds. Your Terminator II should work exactly as it did before. The round piece that I believe you are referring to is the magnet. It is safe to touch and should not cause concern. The little black dots are a sign of oxidation and indicate that your skin secretions are still fairly acidic. This should decrease in time.
