Hello doctor,

My father is 91 years old. He is doing quite well for his age, but he needs to drink more water. I have read Dr. Batmanghelidj's book, "Your Many Cries for Water" and learned about the importance of hydration. I believe my father can improve his blood high viscosity (prone to blood clots) and high blood pressure with better hydration. He is currently taking about 2 cups of water a day (he should be taking about 9 cups/day).

I am considering to buy MegaHydrate to help my father increase his body hydration. The product description stated that,

"Double blind placebo studies clearly demonstrate that the Silica Hydride in MegaHydrate dramatically increases total body water in just four weeks!"

How much water should my father drink a day along with the 1 capsule of MagaHydrate to achieve an increase in body water? Can Magahydrate help him hydrate his body more with less water? He does not seem to like the taste of water, but also his body is in "reserve" mode from the de-hydration (giving him the false impression that he is not thirsty, when he actually is). With MegaHydrate, can his thirst level increase to encourage him to drink more water?

We use a water filter to remove Chlorine and Fluoride from the water.

MegaHydrate helps the body’s cells retain and absorb water better by reducing the surface tension. People are dehydrated due to the lack of cellular absorption due to high surface tension.

Your Father will still need to up his water intake to at least 64 ounces every day.
