Hi

Because the body functions as a whole—mind, body, spirit—maintaining good health and wellness is of the utmost importance in keeping the mail reproductive organs functioning and healthy. The objective is to promote health and wellness instead of confronting disease. Health and disease are conditions of the whole organism, a whole involving a complex interaction of physical, spiritual, mental, emotional, genetic, environmental, social, and other factors. The harmonious functioning of all aspects of the individual is essential to recovery from and prevention of disease. If you continually work on keeping the whole body healthy then the reproductive organs will also be healthy.

Nutritional Suggestions:

Eat smaller, more frequent meals. Overeating can suppress hormone production. Make sure that you are eating a healthy diet. Fad diets are not healthy. See Transforming Your Health in 90 Days or Less E-book for a total health program in getting and keeping the body healthy.

Drink in moderation. Heavy drinking can lead to prostate problems and impaired erections.

Limit consumption of fatty dairy foods and meats (especially beef and pork), notoriously high in hormone-disrupting chemicals. Chicken is also an offender. Buy hormone-free poultry. Reduce fried foods (cook with health oils), caffeine and sugar—they deplete the adrenals and drain male energy. Be careful as an extremely low fat diet is disastrous for men’s health as recent studies find it may reduce testosterone levels almost to preadolescent levels. Flax seed oil and Hempseed Oil is healthy and so is unrefined coconut oil.

Add high-energy foods like complex carbohydrates from whole grains, legumes, fresh fruits and vegetables. Add a super food green drink each afternoon.

Drink green tea to flush out fats that harbor hormone disrupting chemicals.

Zinc Orotate is important for sexual potency. Zinc, highly concentrated in semen, is the most important nutrient for male sexuality.

Do not use the microwave as it kills enzymes which are important for glandular and hormone metabolism.

Wash fruit and vegetable products thoroughly to reduce hormone disrupting pollutant residues.

Exercise is VITAL. It makes the body stronger, function better and endure longer. In a study where men exercised 60 minutes a day, 3 days a week, every single man reported significantly enhanced sexuality, increased frequency, performance and satisfaction.

Don’t smoke if you want your libido in top condition. Smoking disrupts hormone activity and is cancer causing.

Get morning sunlight on the body, on the genitalia, if legally possible.

Drink half your body weight in ounces of water each day.

Today men have only about 82% of the sperm counts they had in 1940. New reports reveal environmental androgens in pollutants (substances that mimic male sex hormone) are much more widespread than previously thought. Keep your environment (work and home) clean and healthy—air, water, etc.—also be careful as to the personal products that you put on your body. Use a deodorant that does not contain aluminum.

For healthier sex glands B-Complex, Vitamin E and Zinc are very important.

Arginine, Vitamins A, beta-carotene and Vitamin C increase sperm count, improve prostate gland function, enhance sperm motility, increase male hormone production and create a healthier nervous system.

Do not put your laptop computer on your lap.

Mind & Spirit Suggestions:

Keeping the mind healthy is very important. Diet plays an important role in this as does exercising the mind. Meditation, yoga, Pilates, etc. are all good in learning how to control the mind. Many studies have been done on how the mind affects the total health and wellness of the body. This is especially important for males in helping to relieve built-up stress and negative emotions. Sexual function can worsen due to stress and anxiety. Physical stress and negative emotions have a detrimental effect on the body and can work to break the body down. Positive attitude is also important. Managing anger is important as anger releases the hormone cortisol which keeps the body under stress.

Make sure that you have fun in life and learn to not take yourself so seriously. Self-talk that is critical can have detrimental effects on the body and can cause performance anxiety.

It is also important to connect with the spiritual aspect of the body. People who practice their faith daily seem to be more healthy than those who do not.
