Dr,
I am a bit confused about the relationship between immune system and allergies.
I read that since we are nowadays a lot healthier than we used to, our very strong immune system get "bored" and start attacking things that are not allergens but are perceived as such.
I also read that a weak immune system will attack things that are not allergens because it is already weakened and tries to protect itself against everything, even when it's harmless.
Do you think we get allergies because of a weak, or a strong immune system?
Thank you,
Joanna.
