Hemp Oil Capsules

Once again, I turn to you because you always answer so quickly and professionally.

I am trying to prevent my seasonal depression by changing my diet, for example by getting more Omega 3s. I tried drinking hemp oil, but it tasted so awful I stopped (a very good, organic brand).

Do you know of any brand that makes a good organic hemp oil that comes in capsules? If these capsules could be made out of vegetarian or fish products instead of cow, that would really be great. I have banned all red meat from my diet (any animal that walks on the groud basically, chicken too), but I still do eat fish sometimes. But I can't find anything...
If the only pills that exist are gelatin, well, I guess I'll have to accept it, if there's no better alternative. But I thought I'd ask first.

There are some good companies that that do produce hemp oil in capsules; however, from what I have seen, they tend to be in the gelatin capsules. Also, many of these are not organic, even from companies that normally produce organic oils. I think that part of the reason is that companies that specialize in oils do not have the necessary machinery for encapsulation and must send the products to another facility; if these facilities are not certified organic, the end product cannot be certified.

One option that you have is to mix the oil in with other foods such as salad dressing, yogurt, shakes, etc. You can mix it, but you should not put it in a recipe that will be subjected to high heat. It can be put on nearly anything after it has been cooked. You can also buy organic hemp butter and use it instead of other similar spreads. For your purposes, I would also suggest a vegetarian DHA supplement that is derived form phytoplankton. This is a vegetarian-source that is generally not prone to the same types of contamination that many fish oils are associated with; however, they generally come in a gelatin capsule and with safflower oil. I sincerely hope that these are marketed in a vegetarian capsule with a nitrogen bubble in the near future. Be aware, too, that certain wild fish that is caught in an uncontaminated environment can be an excellent source of these fatty acids.
