Hello Im wondering if anyone can lend me some help or knows something that helps I have IBS on top of that I have to have my uterus removed because of constant problems so i will need a partial hysterectomy they were shooting me up with lupron and that wasnt working but now I have been off it for 2 months and i have no periods and no relief of the pain and to make matters worse i am not digesting food at all i feel like a blown up balloon is there anything natural i can take to ease the discomfort or just help with this situation?

It definitely sounds as if your entire endocrine and digestive system is out of balance. There are a number of things that can potentially be beneficial in your case. In any event, I would strongly recommend working with a naturopath, chiropractor, or other physician that is trained in and experienced with natural medicine. Some suggestions are following:

• Cleansing- Undertake a series of cleanses for your colon, liver/gallbladder, and possibly for parasites. This can aid in the removal of accumulated toxins in the body, particularly in the colon and liver. Many IBS sufferers benefit from regular colon cleansing; flushing the liver can help to remove some of the drug residue that may still be present in your system. A good protocol can be found at www.ghchealth.com/liver-and-gallbladder-flush.html. Be aware that you may need to start slowly with the colon cleanse due to the IBS.
• Enzymes- I would suggest trying a plant-based enzyme such as Zymitol taken at mealtimes. This can provide enzymes that are likely not present in food but are necessary for complete digestion. In some situations these can help with bloating, especially if it is due ot poor digestion.
• Probiotic- This is a general term that describes the good bacteria that should be present in your system. Latero-flora is a very potent probiotic that can aid in restoring beneficial colonies in the gut. Many pharmaceuticals reduce these type of bacteria, especially if taken over a period of time. Among other benefits, these bacteria are important for proper hormone metabolism.
• Diet- Consider an organic diet that is rich in fruits and vegetables. These are much more nutrient-dense than processed foods and do not contain the toxic additives, pesticides, herbicides, and other chemicals. Meat should preferably be organic as well; this is important as most conventionally-raised meats contain antibiotic and hormone residue.
• Read “Balancing Your Hormones Without Drugs... You Can Feel Good Again,” by Dr. Edward Group. This can give you some insight into hormone balance by natural methods.
