failed liver flush

Postby helpme17th on Fri Sep 22, 2006 6:11 pm

i started taking oxypowder about a week ago.. everything is ok.. i'm having 3 bms every morning.. last night i took my usual oxypowder and had 3 bms this morning..
i will do a liver cleanse today.. when i took my epson salt it didnt cause me to bowel.. only bloating.. when i took my second dose of epson salt.. still i didnt have any bm..
i decided not to continue with my liver cleanse because i fear
that my bile duct might not be open because i didnt have a bm prior to my liver cleanse..

why is it that i didnt have any bm right after i took my epson salt.. is it because i took oxypowder last night and had 3 bms already in the morning..

should i just ignore this and continue with the liver cleanse?

Some people do not react as strongly to the Epsom Salt as do others. From your post, it is difficult to tell whether you have prepared for the liver/gallbladder flush using Super Phos 30 or whether you have taken only the Oxy-Powder. It is generally recommended to perform a 7-day cleanse with Oxy-Powder, and then proceed to the beginning of the liver/gallbladder flush protocol. This protocol takes approximately 5-6 days; the first 4 days also include Oxy-Powder along with Super Phos 30.

You can attempt the liver/gallbladder flush again after taking the following the protocol. I would suggest possibly trying a slightly higher dose of Epsom Salt during the final day of the protocol. The primary reason for taking Epsom Salt is in order to relax the bile ducts in order to ease the passage of any stones, but this is not dependent upon having a bowel movement. If you feel that it is necessary, you can take some additional Epsom salt the next morning upon waking.
