Hi Della
The following would be suggested:
Liver/gallbladder/parasite/intestinal cleanse once a month for 4-6 months. Then at least 2x's yearly. Very important.
MediCardium for heavy metal detoxification. Very important.
Every month (under doctor's supervision) do a
raw foods fast for 2-3 days. Nothing but raw foods and vegetable juices (may have some herbal teas).
Healthy Diet consisting of 75-80% raw. Eliminate all sugar and artificial sweeteners, hydrogenated oils, MSG, aluminum containing products, grocery store dairy and meat. Many Parkinson's patients that stop eating animal meats have noted improvement in muscle control and coordination. Get Dr. Group's e-book -
Transforming Your Health In 90 Days or Less for recommendations on a whole-body approach.
Avoid alcohol and caffeine.
Food allergies may be an aggravator of Parkinson's disease. So be aware of the diet.
Vitamin C - Beet/tapioca derived. 4000-5000mg daily in divided doses.
Zymitol - Enzyme support. Take according to directions.
Vitamin E - 800 IU four times daily. (must contain all tocotrienols and tocopherols)
Quantum Greens - double directions at product page on the GHC site.
Essential Fatty Acids - Fish Oil or Cod Liver Oil. Carlson's is best. Take enough to provide 1 gram of DHA and EPA daily.
Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (HADH) - 5 mg twice daily. Research has found this improves brain function and reduces symptoms of Parkinson's.
Nacetylcystein (NAC) - 500 mg three times daily. Increases levesl of glutathione.
Coenzyme Q10 - 1200 mg daily. Helps to reduce the progression of early stage Parkinson's.
Calcium Orotate - 2 tablets 2x daily. Morning and evening.
Sunshine on as much of the body as possible 20-30 minutes daily.
Check on
glutathion intravenous treatment. Some doctors report benefit for people with Parkinson's disease.
Accupressure focusing on gallbladder 20 and stomach 36.
Stress Relief - aromatherapy essential oils in a warm bath. Use lavender, jasmine, rose or geranium. Also good used in a massage.
Yoga (early-stage Parkinson's), meditation, walking, good music, friends (do not withdraw) are all great for stress and relaxation.
There is also a clinic in Mexico called
The William Hitt clinic that you may want to check out.
I have no clinical experience with Risotriene. It looks like a good product as long as it doesn't have any added excipients or fillers.
