Dry mouth

Postby Princess on Fri Mar 31, 2006 12:33 pm

Whenever I use oxypowder I wake up sometime in the middle of the night thirsty and with dry mouth. Like, really really thirsty. I take the pills with enough water, so I was just curious as to why this happens.

It is recommended to drink at least ½ your body weight in ounces of clean, not tap, water every day. Although there have never been any cases of dehydration while using Oxy-Powder, it is still wise to make sure that you are well-hydrated throughout the cleanse. Remember that many people do undergo significant detoxification while performing a colon cleanse and, like all processes in the body, this requires water. It is very good that you take the pills with a full glass of water, but it may be necessary to drink more throughout the day as well. Personally, I keep a bottle with me nearly everywhere that I go so that I can keep better tabs on the actual amount that I drink. Also, remember that soda, tea, coffee, and other caffeinated beverages are diuretics and can contribute more to water loss than water gain.
