Confused about 7 day cleanse

Postby steve on Thu Mar 31, 2005 7:51 pm

Hi,
When I started taking Oxy-Powder,I was ubder the impression the cleanse lasted 7 days, even if you achieve the desired bowl movements on lets say day 4 or 5.However,after reading the question and answer excerps,I have a different interpretation than what is stated on the brochure, bottle and dosage instruction on this site.In my case,I didn't achieve 3 bowl movements until day 6 using 12 pills, and I thought I had only 1 more day left on the cleanse before beginning the maintenance, but I believe I'm wrong. If I read this right,I have to continue anothe 6 days at 12 pills for a total of 13 days for a cleanse.I hope you can sort this out for me.I have included quotes below for you .

"Oxy-Powder can be used as an intestinal cleansing agent or to relieve the symptoms of acute constipation. Start by taking 4 capsules in the evening, before bed, on an empty stomach (at least 2 hours after last meal) with a full 8-ounce glass of purified water. If you do not achieve 3-5 bowel movements the following day, you will then increase the dosage by adding two more capsules each night until you achieve 3-5 bowel movements. Once you find your dosage this is Day 1 of the Seven Day Cleanse. You will stay on this dose for 7 consecutive days. After the 7 Day Cleanse, take the maintenance dose as directed."

"You will want to start slowly and gradually progress with the dosage. Begin with 4 capsules the first night before bed. Continue to take 2 additional capsules every night before bed until you achieve at least 3 bowel movements the following day. The dosage which will allow you to have 3-5 bowel movements per day will be your dosage for the rest of the 7-day cleanse. "

Hi Steve,

I can certainly see where this could be confusing and we are taking steps to eliminate this confusion. I would also suggest that if you are over 30 that you add 1/4 wedge of organic lemon (squeezed) to the water that you drink with each dose. This will make sure that the stomach has sufficient acid in order for Oxy-Powder to work.

The correct instructions are:

Oxy-Powder can be used as an intestinal cleansing agent or to relieve the symptoms of acute constipation. After the 7 Day Cleanse, take the maintenance dose as directed.

Have a great weekend!
