People that suffer form IBS and reflux disease generally do continue to brush their teeth. Poor oral hygiene can lead to a build-up of plaque and, more importantly it can lead to a bacterial growth. I recommend that you use a natural, non-fluoridated toothpaste made by a reputable manufacturer in the health food industry. Brushing is also very important as it is likely that your body is acidic and more prone toward inflammation in the mouth.
