Hi Linn

Please can you help, I have tried your 'Oxy Powder' recently, once I did the 7 day detox but then I went away on holiday abroad and so only again took it a couple of times as i kept forgetting. The second time is very recently, I have just finished the 7 day cleanse, and am not sure now what to do as regards further doses. I have bben taking 8 or 9 tablets at night, and have found that these give me the said bowel movements of around 3-5 per day. However I have been suffering with IBS/Constipation for some time now and this has been confirmed by my doctor. I was fed up with taking constant laxatives and so tried your product on the reccomendation of a friend who is treating her Autistic son who has an impacted bowel.

Although I have been experiencing the movements, I am still extremely bloated. this is not a new thing as I have been suffering with this problem for some time on and off. I also had a colonic a couple of months ago, but found it very embarrasing and so have not been back for another.

Your product seems to releive these symptoms temporarily and then once i again eat something i am getting the bloatedness. I have read some of your leaflets, and thought that you maybe able to reccomend any further treatment that could help with this problem. I am also taking a pro-biotic and have been doing so for some time.

Thank you very much

Linn,
It is no unusual for someone that suffers from IBS to respond more slowly to cleansing their bowel with Oxy-Powder. I would recommend performing the 7-day cleanse and continuing on the maintenance for a total of at least 30 days before making a real evaluation. It sounds as if the cleansing and regular elimination helps, but there is still an underlying cause for the IBS itself. The probiotic is an excellent idea. There are many that are currently on the market; the one that I suggest is Latero-flora. It is a spore-encased strain of beneficial bacteria and works very well. I would also suggest regular use of a plant-based enzyme product such as Zymitol, taken with or before meals. This can aid in more complete digestion of food, which does help reduce bloating for some people. Beyond these things, I would highly suggest visiting with a naturopath in order to evaluate lifestyle and dietary habits. It is very likely that an elimination diet, reducing foods down to a minimum of unprocessed foods and then slowly adding back foods that may provoke a reaction, will show that there are food sensitivities present. In addition to the colon cleanse, I would suggest performing a liver/gallbladder flush and parasite cleanse in the near future, www.ghchealth.com/liver-and-gallbladder-flush.html. Thanks!
