Asthma and Sarcoidosis - Warmer climate versus Colder?

Hi I was wondering if you could shed some light on my health issue. I grew up in a warm, tropical climate. I moved interstate to a colder, dry climate and after 10 years developed severe asthma. I find when I go back to a warm, tropical climate I am a lot better. I developed Sarcoidosis 2 years ago, and suffer a lot of inflammation in the body (lungs, sinus, joints) and during the winter months am very dibilitated with my symptoms. I need to take prednisilone most days ranging from 10mg to 50mg depending on the severity of my symptoms, what I would like to know is, why do I feel so much better in the summer months here, and a lot better in the warmer, tropical climate of my birth? I am seriously considering moving as a result. Your thoughts here would be wonderful, and if anyone else can shed light on Asthma or Sarcoidosis remedies it would be so appreciated. It may be that you have a form of asthma known as intrinsic asthma. Cold air, toxic chemicals, infection, infection, emotional upset, and other factors are likely to trigger an asthmatic episode and may account for at least part of the reason that you feel seem to be better in a warmer climate.
